The chart above plots the traffic numbers for five of our clients over a six month period. So what does this chart reveal and why should you care?
Our website support clients handle marketing in a number of ways. Some choose to conduct marketing efforts in-house, using the resources they have available. Others outsource to alternative marketing professionals. So the first thing this chart demonstrates is that our marketing strategies outperform those other options.
It wasn't a shock to see that the planning, strategy and implementation undertaken for our clients on our marketing plans, out-performed those on website plans. However, even we were surprised by the enormous difference in results. In the closest comparison, our marketing plan delivered well over 200% more traffic, while the top performing plan in the chart (the orange line) delivered more than 1,000% improvement!
Growth vs maintenance
We offer our clients a choice of TWO plans of continuous support: Website support or Marketing support. The goal for each of these plans is different.
The objective of our Website support plan is to provide peace of mind, by providing access to web development experts and a range of services aimed at minimising disruption to an online business. This is a minimum requirement and an absolutely necessity in the ever evolving environment of technology and the internet.
The objective of our Marketing support plan is business growth. With content and assets created by a professional team of copywriters, graphic designers, photographers and videographers we take a flexible, but co ordinated, approach to marketing.
We employ various tactics depending upon budget and what part of the sales funnel we’re looking to influence. This may include:
- Social media campaigns
- Pay per click advertising
- Email marketing
- Conversion rate optimisations and more.
We also include the same coverage as our Web support plan.
Sales vs traffic
Traffic itself is no guarantee of sales or conversions (a customer taking an action). There are many other factors to consider as part of a customer's journey. However, let's say that currently 1% of your website visitors results in a sale or conversion – it could be per day, per week or per month. The hypothesis is, that if you get 1,000 more visitors, of your target audience, then sales or conversions should increase.
Custom marketing solutions
While they share similar methodologies, each marketing plan is tailored for the client. They are created to uniquely match the type of business: B2B or B2C; or vertical, whether that is hospitality, retail or professional services.
Not for profit fundraising
The strategies we create and the tactics we deploy are also equally translatable for not-for-profits and their vital fundraising initiatives.
